Expect More GST Changes
« on: September 07, 2005, 07:35:38 PM »

Expect Steve Malzberg or another talk talent to be added to the staff for the fall book along with Denny Schaeffer.

Either Kimmer or Hughes will be out.  Most likely Hughes will gone.

Don't be suprised to see major lineup changes.

While they will still be Braves Radio, they will go back to the emphasis on News and Talk.

Of course,  I am just guessing.

It no longer matters what happens at WGST. It's over, nothing can be salvaged at this failed station.

Sadly Morescrabble I happen to agree with you on this one.

Boy, that's really sad.  Malzberg was probably one of the least-prepared fill ins on the station during this whole rotten circus.  Look for any left-over ratings to go down, down, down.  Sheesh.  Remember when WGST actually was a DECENT station?  Remember when Boortz was on GST?  Remember when it was on 920 AM?

"Wake up to the world, Newsradio 92...." Boortz, Clark Howard,Hannity, even Rush and the Braves really made WGST a player, once apon a time.

Steve's a great guy and indeed talented, but I doubt this will help WGST in the long run, and it will destroy two more otherwise promising careers (Malzberg's and Shaeffer's).

Until major changes are made at the TOP of the management chain there, nothing will help them.

The Titanic sunk a long time ago and the crew is still trying to rearrange the deck chairs.
