> Ugh...there's a sinking ship for you....would you believe I was offered a job on the morning show there nearly a year ago and since then, the morning show has changed about FOUR times in just a year!?? Sadness....Oh well, what can you expect? Needless to say I ran far from that job!

That's funny.... I don't rememeber offering AMD to anyone that turned it down!  Maybe you could refresh my memory... after all I am getting old and senile!  BTW.. if you really are in the business you know that small market stations have a lot of turnover because if someone is good they get a chance to move up to a bigger market.  We get lucky sometimes and get a good person that WANTS to live in a small town so they stay.  But a lot of the time a person works at a station like ours so they can get noticed and move up.  JB Stevens just left us to go to work for CC's Total Traffic in Atlanta.  Pamela got a job in her hometown in up state NY near her family.  Dakota is working in Augusta at one of the strong fms there. etc. etc. etc.  We have been extremely fortunate in that we have some very good on air people that want to live and work in our  small town.  People like Uncle Rich, Benji, Heather, Chris East, Jackie Steele, Shawn Cleaves, and James Williams are among the best small market on air people you will find in markets our size... they could all get jobs in bigger markets if they chose to, but they like it here and thank God they want to stay.
BTW... based on the attitude you show here... thank you for running from the job.  Yes, sometimes we make a mistake and hire a bad apple... sometimes we get lucky and they turn down the job.
