The Buzz, a CHR now??

I wouldn't normally bitch about hearing bands multiple times in a day, but I heard and found on mediabase some pretty careless programming on the part of Don.
Now there are definitely some great songs in here. U2, Limp Bizkit (Thank you Don for finally playing some good Bizkit!), Manson and the Femmes.
However, NIN played at 4:03 and 4:51. Different song, but also look at how many other times our buddy Trent Reznor was played in this time segment. This playlist is from today.
You should expect to hear Green Day's "holiday" several times in a day. Hearing it 5 times in 4 listens wouldn't suprise me. However, there's a few bummers on here that probably weren't intentional. Do other PD's look at this stuff? Do they care? Should an alternative station that has a wide available playlist play the same band twice or three times in an hour without special case (i.e. the band is doing an in-studio or on-site interview for a show)?

I heard that too, but it was part of the "Flashback" thing he does. I called him on it, his response was that the flashback is a seperate segment and sometimes the songs are chosen on the fly.. and that someone has requested it so he threw it in. in looking at your list, it looks pretty normal.. with the exception of the Goo Goo Dolls (personally hate that band).
