From opening shows for Frank Sinatra to hosting a swap show in Hackettstown.  I'd say he's finally made it in show biz.  Hellodere!

Marty Allen is his late '80's and still performing!?!  G-d bless him. That's phenomenal.  I'm so sorry that I hadn't seen this post in time to listen to him this morning.  Leno or Letterman or someone should have him on.  This is a great story!

I wonder what Steve Rossi is doing?  When Howard Stern first came to NY, Steve Rossi was a regular on his show.  Then, when Howard started landing name guests, you didn't hear Steve on his show anymore.

Harry:
Rossi, Marcia Rodd, Ronnie Schell and Barbara Minkus are in an off-Broadway production of "Don't Leave It All To Your Children," that opened on May 20 at the Actors Temple Theatre in New York. Other than that it looks like he's been performing on a regular basis on stage in Palm Springs, CA with Schell. The website says that James Dybas will be replacing Schell until the early fall.

Thanks for the update Glenn.  Again, more news I was too late to jump on.  I was in NYC this past weekend and saw Carnage w/ James Gandolfini, Marcia Gay Harden and Jeff Daniels.  The actors were great.  The play sucked.  If only I knew Steve Rossi was performing that nite, I would rather have seen him and Marcia Rodd and Ronnie Schell (who actually used to play a radio DJ on a sitcom with Goldie Hawn - Anyone rememer that?)
Gee, being that Steve is in NY and Marty is in North Jersey, I wonder if they get together.

The show was called "Good Morning World".  I met Ronnie when he opened for Robert Goulet at Southern Illinois University (Hey..it was parents weekend!), and I asked him if he had ever been in radio.  He hadn't.  'Very nice guy, though.

The show was called "Good Morning World".
You are correct sir.  Now, what all time-great disc jockey opened his show with that phrase every day?
