820 KHZ Spanish Rock. Cuba?
« on: August 06, 2009, 10:19:08 PM »

When: 8/6/2009 9:30P - 10:30P Eastern
I have been listening to 820 KHZ and a spanish station playing Spanish rock and several fast paced DJ's. WBAP was nulled. There was more talking than music & I could hear the radio reloj tick faintly. It was mostly rock sung in Spanish.

I assume this was Cuba, but they were not playing the kind of music I would expect to hear.

Anyone have the answer?

YVSH Venezuela has been reported in MA. Rock in Spanish from Cuba improbable, but you never know. Probably not Largo, FL, it's N/T now. Up to last year it was Spanish-language Hot Hits format, as "La Preciosa 820" A Mexican station staying on with its day power at night? Perhaps David Eduardo (Gleason) knows? I'm gonna check this one out too.
