WREC
« on: October 05, 2005, 09:25:40 AM »

Clear Careers has the Program Director job at WREC posted as an opening.  Anybody got any news about this?  Is the PD out of a gig at WREC?

The PD at WREC took a very good offer to go to WPTF and the Curtis Media cluster in Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill.  Good jack, bigger market, great part of the country.  But he was not forced out...CC asked him to stay at REC, just a better opportunity for him and his family to go.  Hence the opening at WREC.

"Anybody got any news about this?"

Hmmm, well, if a job is posted then it means one is available?  If you're truly interested that's one thing.

"Is the PD out of a gig at WREC?"

Oops, easy to tell you're not truly interested.  Why bother if you only want CC....smut.

Interesting news. On that note, I'd just like to post my congrats to Ray Steele on the new job. I interviewed with him several months back for a producer's job at REC, and while I ended up not getting the gig, I really thought Ray was a class act and a very nice person to talk to. I wish him the best of luck with the new job.

A job posting does not mean an opening really exists.  It could be a posting to fill the EEO requirements.

I am truly interested in the job.  I don't care about any smut.
