Dr. Joy is on 2AM-5AM 7 nights a week on CHML 900 out of Hamilton, Ontario.  It's a lot more intelligent than the other crap on at that time - those kooks on Coast to Coast AM (who all belong in padded rooms) and the Dinosaur known as Joey Reynolds.

Crap is all in the eye of the beholder.  As for me......ONE VOTE for the "Dinosaur" Joey Reynolds.  True enough, he's not 35 anymore, but he's STILL one of the very best at what he does!

The Harris Sunwatch is no longer supported by Harris, has not been for many years. I was a beta tester for the product and was responsible for many of its features including a 14 month year. The Sine Systems RFC-1/B MUST have a UPS protecting it from a power failure, even a momentary one. That will cause it to lose track of time and render timed events useless. If you check 70 and 71, the month/year and time and they default to zero then there has been a loss of power.

Yup and given the maintenance budget this place has ($0, I lost interest when they gave me a hard time replacing the HOT WATER HEATER).  I'm betting that's what it is, I'm just too lazy to listen at other times, literally, dont care.  What matters is, is the interference and rules violations after (whatever time sunset is this month) and the 2nd harmonic component on 160 meters.

Not surprised.  The Harris Sunwatch probably went the way of the SEDAT Transponder during Y2K transition.

I was there off and on between '93 and '99 and in all that time, I dont ever recall a time when we had hot water anywhere in the building.

Don't sweat it.  It's a tree in the forest.  No one else cares except MarcB.  Wink
