Nice tribute to a nice guy, I'm sure. I never knew him.
However, the last post on this (before your recent one) was about a year ago.
Thus, no more people (like maybe his close friends or family) would have had to been reminded of it (or even seen it for the first time) if you hadn't re-posted on it a year later.
No offense to you...maybe he was your friend and it really ticked you off to see this again.

Huh It is amazing that a sweet tribute to a great guy can morph into a narcisstic rant about one person's career mistakes.  romer979 should be ashamed of himself for assaulting the rest of \\us with his crabby rant about a radio  job he did not like.  Does anyone care?

On behalf of the sane, mature adults on this board, I would like to apologize to Mike's family and friends.
Now that romer 979 has proven that anyone who hires him is taking a great risk, perhaps he will leave us
alone.

where did I say anything negative about Mike?
the station sucked...and he rose above it.

please read it again.  sorry to have offended you with something I did not say. wow.

I knew Mike well. In fact I worked with him in Nashville and again in Jackson Tn. He knew WLUY was bad and we talked about it many times! "Romer979" worked with us as well so he knows first hand how bad it was. Truth hurts I guess. And yes he DID rise above it. We all did!
