Corbin Bernsen has been in & out of the Akron, Ohio area several times over the last few months trying to arrange financing to do a film on the Soap Box Derby. It is in financial trouble and may fold or move to another city. He's hoping to do a "family friendly" film that will raise awareness of the Derby and get more people interested in participating in it. [He's attempting to raise financing from all over the USA, not just the Akron area.]
