As long as Mr. Handel has fellow employees in other parts of the country who are handling 2 shifts and making about 1/10 as much as he is, I can't feel too bad.

Why isn't Handel's morning show syndicated? It's good enough(IMO), the content isn't very local and he works for Clear Channel!?

The good part of his show, 5am to 6am is mostly of local interest and very much of an inside joke for fans. The second hour might be syndicatable in that it is just news but again a lot of it is local because he is a local show. The last two hours are not, IMHO, that stellar as was not his mid day show. Handel is at his best being irreverent, stupid, and offensive; quite honestly that is when he is most compelling. Handel without the crew and his non sequiturs is pretty much of a Dennis Prager clone just not as convincing though usually well researched.

Glenn Beck is the one I find who has managed to usually balance comedy with informative content. It isn't easy to feed people information and at the same time avoid making them drowsy. For this discussion I am not making a statement on his subject matter, just the manner of presentation. I've heard all of the pros and cons about his shows and I defer that judgment up to you all and your personal tastes and reserve mine at this time.

I'm not in the radio industry but I think it could easily be syndicated. Especially on the west coast PT-zone.

Yes, the 5-7 and 8:30 to 9:00 hours are the best because exchange with crew.   The 7:00 and 8:00 to 8:30 hours are usually pretty dull unless Handel interviews someone interesting.    His show is much more entertaining when he has conversations compared to when he reads the news.   I am surprised he didn't try to recruit some of the crew to join him for his noon time slot.

Whatever happened to their vodcast idea?   Did it last about a month or so?
Whatever happened to Lara?   I thought she would turn up somewhere.
