Delilah has run her course.  I don't exactly follow their listening habits, but I know plenty of 25-54 women who can't stand her.  The concept is ancient and the show is extremely canned.  Does her show actually do well anywhere?

Delilah has LOTS of loyal listeners, including myself. Her soft radio show is a nice respite from all the hate going on out there on the radio. I enjoy listening to love songs in the evening. I have tried to call in to her show many times to talk to her, but the phone lines are always so busy.

I can't stand Delilah. Too sappy for even me. My boyfriend Paulie hates it too. And, hey-----------what youse got against WDUV anyhows?
I suppose since I don't have to live in the Tampa area, nothing. But this watered down mess that shouldn't appeal to anyone keeps anything good from succeeding. Their competitors just keep dropping out of the picture.

If you don't count the weekend version of Tesh's show, WFMK Lansing can be added to the list - they have Tesh only on Sundays.  But WNIC and WMGC are probably the only ones in a significant Michigan market that air neither show at all (although Delilah has been on both stations in the past and WMGC has had Tesh before).

Is Delilah still on WNIC in Detroit?

KSNE/Las Vegas dropped Delilah a couple of months ago. She did very well in the diary, often #1 25-54. But her numbers plunged with PPM which favors more music/less talk.

WBEB in PHilly had two runs with Delilah over the years. They dropped her the second time within the last year.
WJBR in Wilmington carries Delilah at 7 and Tesh at midnight.
She also still graces the airwaves at WLEV in Allentown and WLTW in NYC, although I suspect her NY clearing is mandated by Clear Channel, who owns her syndicator.

Ultimately, she will become a victim of PPM technology in time.

But she's had an amazing run, still does in some places. Like her or not, she's been a huge success. But like everything else, has probably run her course in most markets.

Perhaps, but is WBEB one of the few exceptions among stations that replace her by putting someone into the slot? How many will just go with aumotated music?  Honest question--is that better or worse?

San Antonio is the latest market to lose Delilah.

Wow it's amazing I saw this thread, because there was something I actually JUST noticed:

I live in the Boston area, and was going to mention both Magic 106.7 and Lite Rock 105. Though I was recently on Citadel Interactive (owns Lite Rock 105), and I noticed that out of all the Citadel AC stations, only 2 of them carry Delilah! WLEV in Allentown, PA and Classy 100 in Erie. I think a station or two carries Tesh. But I have to say I don't think Tesh is as bad, because I think with the John Tesh show, the music is selected locally by the radio station, while Delilah has her own playlist.
