Billy Madison Show Back in Tulsa!
« on: May 04, 2010, 08:55:05 AM »

After a stint at 102.1 the Edge in Dallas, Billy Madison has brought his show back to Tulsa, this time to 106.9 K-HITS. Found it by accident this morning.

How long has he been back? What happened to KHITS previous morning show?

The battle between 106.9 and 92.1 should be interesting! Let's hope 106.9 gives Billy the creative freedom he had at 92.1. That means letting the show air live on a 5 second delay.

Started yesterday. The previous show (from what I hear) was axed to make room for Billy and his crew.

This is funny for a lot of reasons. First, Billy used to tear up K-Hits on air during his days at The Beat. Then, when he arrived in Dallas, he would say on air how much he hated Tulsa, and now he's back. Very odd.

Of course, he will have success here, but it will be a much different show. K-Hits will play songs during the morning drive, so it will be alot more like a conventional morning show than what he did at The Beat.

Both station stand to gain attention from this move.
