SAM

YOU ARE MAKING SOME STRONG ALLEGATIONS AGAINST BRETT.  If these allegations are true why hasnt Brett been prosected yet and sent to jail?HuhHuhHuhHuhHuh   ive asked you this question before and have gotten no answer    Huh

Allegations would mean that there isn't definitive truth to the claims. The sad news is, no matter how you may feel about Brett, he is a crook and he is a fraud. He knew about the Arbitron diaries, he PROBABLY (and that probably is 99.9%, we will only know if he is a 100% guilty when is tried in front of a jury of his peers Smiley ) had a hand in the entire ordeal.

Oh and on top of that, he ran that company into the ground. No matter what the state of the economy was, a GOOD business owner would have found a way to make it work. That's what GOOD business owners do, they stick out the rough times and profit during the good ones.

Brett was a lousy business owner and a terrible GM. Maybe in his personal life he is a good guy, maybe he is a saint, maybe he donates regularly to charity, but the fact is, as a business owner, the only thing that sucked more than him, was the product that his company put on the air.

Sorry Downbeach...but your friend Brett had no business being in the radio business and that is why he is out of it.

Another thread with internal drama exposed in public! Somehow, someway, this will eventually go in the direction of bashing dance music.

Trust me Don im no friend of Brett.  And I 100% agree with you that Brett is  bad biz person and a big time con artist but I still blame the demise of Atlantic on the owners even hiring Brett to run the stations with out any radio experience at all. I blame  the owners for the demise of Atlantic for hiring Brett.  Secondly Brett, as noted by sam its true he is looking to  get a group of investors to buy out the group that runs Atlantic now if that happens Brett  in my eyes is a biz wizard.  What im trying to find out is if all the allegations that you have made and sam have made are true and Im not doubting you guys at all why hasnt Brett been sued or sent to jail and again why hasnt the main streem media picked up on what happened im sure any of the  tv stations in philly would love to cover a story like this . So thats why im questioning the severity of the allegations.  Thirdly, no one has to worry again that Brett will be on the air waves in SJ since there is no station left that he can work at just as a process of elimination in the market.

At this point I suspect Brett could not raise enough money to buy out a Sabretts Hot Dog stand near Lucy the elephant in Margate even if he brought his own pickled relish. Besides, who would consume anything even partially edible from this man? If he is going to conspire to fraud the numbers and values in a simple stupid ratings survey, in a little local radio market, and then attempt to sell them to the unsuspecting local business community where he lives, then what lengths would he go through to peddle day old food products with altered numerical expiration dates in an unsanitary food cart to unsuspecting passers by from out of town. Seriously.

Dealing with Sam Lit and Who Cares is like having discussion with someone who is sure the world is flat and was created 8000 years ago. They have all this magic evidence that no one has ever seen. Downbeach Fan is correct, the news media would LOVE a story like this if there was a shred of truth to it. It's a shame so of you are bashing someone you don't like and you'll say anything to make someone you hate look bad. Most of us out of work radio people are not that bitter about being fired or not hired in Sam Lit's case. Nick I like you, we all should get back to bashing dance music(CHR).

Yooo dude, calm down. No need to be belligerent. Ain't no thing. Take a look around you. Just because you may be out of the loop, perhaps you could gain some benefit from someone who is. Sit back and try to learn something. Take in the scenery. Absorb the benefits from those willing to share. You never know, knowledge gain, is knowledge earned. Sometimes a little subtle education can go a long way. It's better than playing with half a deck. Enjoy the scenery, dig the scene, you know what I mean? Solid ted, 'nuff said.

Now I'm the only one you don't like, Tubbs?  Awwww...that sucks!

Anyway, Brett is being sued in a non-radio situation.  The suit alleges fraud.  No magic evidence needed, I believe it's a matter of public record.

I love everybody, even Who Cares! I'm a lover not a fighter so I'll take a cue from Sam Lit, I worked for him(and others at that cluster)and I was treated well. Everything during my time was always on the level, again that was my experience. Can anyone explain why 102.7 going to CHR is a good idea again? What happens to the Morning Edge? 103.7 seems to be back to pure classic rock and JSE is now more 90's than ever. DISCUSS!
