The people at WKOX (via their own discussion board on their website) have indicated that they feel the upgrade is a done deal. They don't have discussion archives I could easily find with a link to the program manager's comment on this. He is either out of the loop (maybe) or the station's upgrade is on the way (maybe next year). Having Al show up is maybe a sign they aren't going to drop anytime soon- but they don't invest anything in sales so you have to listen to those godforesaken PSA's where the local ad spots would be. I listened to AAR's Majority Report recently and the AAR internet feed has very few PSA's, especially compared to WKOX playing Stephanie Miller.
The discussion board at WKOX is pretty busy with Ed bashing (I agree but don't join in) and complaints about the signal. I can get it (with some static) in southern New Hampshire on a good (for AM radio) day.
