Re Cisco Kid....RTV is showing some black & white ones, but possibly it was because not all their in-house prints were color when they got 'em.

I would like to see:

  • Angie
It's Your Move (Jason Bateman's VERY funny sitcom)
    My Sister Sam
    The 5 Mrs Buchanans

Though not obscure I'd LOVE to see Mama's Family on DVD, all seasons

I thought "Angie" as a cute show...maybe not knee slapping funny, but serviceable....

It shoulda been released earlier----like at a time when Doris Roberts was riding her role on "Everybody Loves Raymond" high, and it would raise curiosity.  Of course, the DVD art could not really emphasize Roberts' name above the others....

I just remembered another show. It was a sitcom from the early 70s starring Dom Delouise, who played a bus driver for a big city transit company, who lived with his wife, her sister and her sister's unemployed bum husband. Dom had to support and tolerate all of them. It was sort of like a modern altered version of "The Honeymooners". I can't recall the name of it and I've never seen it as reruns.

It was called "Lotsa Luck", and also starred legendary character actress Kathleen Freeman.

Someone mentioned "My Sister Sam"...Has that ever been in reruns? I figured it was never shown after the murder of Rebecca Schaefer.

My choice would be "The Paul Lynde Show", ran 1972-73 on ABC. Hilarious "filmed in front of a live audience" sitcom, crushed in the ratings by "Adam-12". There are unauthorized versions floating out there in cyberspace, but I'd like to see Sony give it a proper release, I'd buy it the day of release!

...Pamelyn Ferdin as Paul Lynde's daughter. Now that's cause for a chuckle in itself! ;-) ...

What's your choices?  Cheesy
...the one I think would actually have a hope of being released at some point would be Paper Moon, with Christopher Connelly as Moses Pray and Jodie Foster as Addie. And anytime Paramount also finds good quality prints of Branded and The Guns of Will Sonnett instead of those chewed-up King World 16mm syndication dupes that have been used in the first DVD sets, I'll grab those as well...

Wow!  Some real moldy oldies there.  I agree with "The Millionaire".  I'd forgotten about that one.

Sea Hunt and Public Defender are both available.  "I Spy" is being aired on RTV now.  And recently I acquired some DVD's of "Science Fiction Theater".  They were recorded off TV so the quality isn't excellent but they are watchable.  It was my favorite show as a kid but watching the series again more than 50 years later is a bit disappointing.

The Science Fiction Theater DVDs sounded like they came from one of the less reputable companies that sell pirated copies. Unfortunately with many of these shows this may be the only way they'll ever be released on DVD.
