We've all been through the reasons why nobody in Boston is doing this, but I will bite my tongue this time.

If anything, seeing the only non-rock oriented stations in town (WXKS, WJMN) dominate the ratings time after time by default, with no competition should be enough initiative to do a station with some sort of rhythmic format...

I'd say "Greater Media" 92.9 WBOS. Everyone always get mad at me when I say something here. I don't mean no harm to no one. These are just ideas, nothing to hurt no one. I'd say WBOS 92.9 because they have the best signal with the Boston and Downtown Boston area. Like I said before, change it to a AC station "Soft 92.9" But focus on NEW AC, NEW Urban AC, New Country, and (New Soft Dance Music=Example "Just Dance" by Lady Gaga) Have them focus on New Urban AC Music "Janet Jackson", "Ruben Studdard", "Macy Gray and Bobby Brown", "Angie Stone" And have some Urban Syndicated Programming on weekends
If they can't do it, like I said before, have Entercom "93.7 Mike FM" change. Either, like I said on top about "My 93.7" change it to that, or change it to "Soft 93.7" with the same idea as I just mentioned here with 92.9, and get a better signal inside Boston for "93.7" Radio Management has to do something. Remember those three ladies that we just mentioned? Think about that. Those are real people listenning to the radio. Radio Management has to do something

I have one more idea, like some of you said, that 93.7 should go up against "The Sports Hub" why not? In that case, my advice is they should call it "93.7 The Ticket WEEI FM" On that one, one weekdays put on Dennis and Callahan 5:30am-10am, and the rest of the day and night and overnight put on "Sporting News Radio" On weekends put on "Sporting News Radio" 24 Hours on weekends. That's just an idea, nothing to hurt no one.

Country on two signals in Boston? And you wonder why people don't take you seriously?

alright i know this sounds silly but why is it have to be soft?? didn't we have wish 99.5 back in-the say and they took it away, i do like the weei going up against the sports hub, especially some other people on this board that say it has good reception at work i would agree!! Boston needs change there are too many of the same stations onthe dial here and in providence, i would like to have a rhythmic/ac sounding station like wild 102.9 or even a fresh 102.7 something good and different !!

How many times do we have to go over why Entercom will not take WMKK out? BTW, next to WBOQ, they are the only half way decent station to listen to these days. WBMX and WODS is ok, but it gets old after awhile.

Boston isn't a terrible market... though not much competition when it comes to the only 2 stations in the area playing hit music. I've seen worse markets, such as Phoenix - their radio stations are so bland and cookie-cutter, I start going to sleep listening to them! Pittsburgh ain't all that great either.
