Stunning since Larry Gifford has been there for years. He took the station to new heights which is not easy for a sports radio station in Los Angeles. Brought in USC and the Lakers. I always did think that the on-air talent is sub-par. You have reporters over there that can barely speak english and sound terrible on the air.

HE brought in USC and the Lakers? Not even close. He happened to be there when others obtained the rights.

According to Don Barret on his twitter account he posted that General Manager Chris Berry has left the station also. What's going on at KSPN? I'm sure there's some nervous on-air talent over there.

Don't you just love our business? The suits swoop in from New York (where they believe they know everything there is to know about Los Angeles) and announce Chris Berry has "resigned."  How stupid do they (and many other business barons) think we are?  I guess they, in their New York fog, think this is letting him save face.

What a business--and we are not alone!
