KELR Chariton
« on: October 26, 2005, 12:11:22 PM »

KELR/105.3 has been operating at a very low power for several weeks now.  They can barely be heard just outside of Chariton.  Before that, they were going off and on the air randomly.  I imagine it is just a financial problem with upkeep.  Anyone know?

I've noticed the same, I live in northern warren county and it usually comes in somewhat.

I would suggest emailing kleeam@lisco.net ,and maybe tom palen will tell us why.

Transmitter fire a few weeks back - just about finished with the repairs, and it should be back to power in a day or so.
