Just noticed the "Spanish Misc." formated 1440 KDIF has changed calls to KFNY and has gone "Comedy". Has anyone listened to this ? Also, KJMB 100.3 Blythe has been sold to it's GM Jim Morris for $150,000. It is a class B but not up to full power and height with no verticle power.

An all-comedy station?  I will be down in SB/Riv in a week, will give it a listen when I come to town.

No site? No live stream? kdif.com still sends me to their Spanish-language format. Looks interesting though, I'm going to have to check it out when I drive to Vegas on May Tongue Roll Eyes

Is this CC's first all-comedy station? Also, is it any funny? Tongue

According to the FCC database KDIF changed call letters to KFNY on 08/30/2010. I just tuned in 1440 from Menifee and heard Spanish language music. It would be nice to have an all comedy station and one less Spanish language music AM probably wouldn't be a tragedy.  Lips sealed

I've been listening to KFNY for about a week or so. The comedy bits are good, range from the old classics (Bill Cosby, George Carlin) to some of the newest (Dane Cook, Kathy Griffin, Ralphie May)....There doesn't seem to be any local commercials or other local content, it's all "off the bird" from what I can tell.

I hope this lasts. It's nice to have an alternative to some of the other AM radio stuff....
