Sounds like you heard WYLL 1160.

WYLL does make into VA along with WOBM in NJ, both with rather poor signals. The other night I heard someone on 1160 say "KSL" and then "Washington" even though I don't know if I really did hear the Salt Lake City station in VA.

Sounds like you heard WYLL 1160.

  Good point! I was probably half asleep by then and it was a pretty noisy signal, so WYLL may have been the ID.
