Finally, North Platte jumps on the train so to speak. Eagle's stations are streaming.

Wow, about time.  I don't think even anybody is Kearney is streaming.  Wonder why a lot of the NE stations are taking so long with this...  Costs?  I know most stream high school sports, but very little stream 24/7.

It's actually a heck of a stream. I compared it a/b to my on air monitor and they sound the same quality. gotta be streaming at 256/44100. Sure beats listening to most stations that stream at lower bit rates.

October 8th and it is now November 20th when I found this! I'm very disappointed. Just WAY too many stations to keep checking every few weeks for new streams.

I'm not impressed by KELN Mix 97-1. It's a small market hot AC that was as boring when I first heard it going through that state a few years back.

In response to the above post quoted above, I notice a lot of the northern states (ND, ID, MT, and especially WY) aren't streaming their stations online. I hope I live long enough to hear every one of these gems!

In NE almost all the mainstream rock stations are all owned by the same company - MGI Family Radio/Legacy Communications. None of those stations stream which is a shame. Hardly any rock stations in NE streamin' to hear.

One more note. Eagle owns KCNB B94.7 in Chadron, NE and that isn't streaming. www.b947.com.

What do you expect? It's an AC station. KELN should be focused on 2 things. Marketing and Music (and from listening to the stream, they are...) Compare it to KCKC in Kansas City. Sounds very similar to me.
