You are a dumbass.  "The Broker" has made enough money in this business to "kill you and keep your mama quiet"- he sold a few stations for me and syndicates some of the biggest names in radio.  I have known him for years.

If I were you, I'd look up from that Ryan Seacrest show you are running and listen to words from a man who could help you.

But you won't.

Maybe ten years from now you might move up through the ranks to actually "turning the mike on" at the AM daytimer you work at in market 430... but ONLY after dark.

It amazes me the caliber of idiot they allow to post on these boards.

I just got one thing, er maybe two,

Al Franken is a face for radio. Actually thank god most of their "talent" isn't on TV cuz...  damn.

Also how much longer can they stay on with no money??

You know its funny political talk always pisses folks off... and nobody ever changes the others mind.

Mr. or Miss, Mrs. or possibly Confused,
It's obvious that you  are not willing to see another point unless
it agrees with yours.  There is a word for that line of thinking,
and NO! I am not about to suggest the 'L' - it has far too high
an implication for you... the word for your actions is NARROW-MINDED.

The gentleman you claim is full of BS is far wiser than your comments
give him credit for.  He simply stated his experience to solidify
his position on what he posted.  He did not state his experience to
demean your overwhelming janitorial service in the radio industry.
The fact that you disregarded his experience shows me that you need
to grow up and learn the business from a perspective that doesn't
involve a urinal cake.

I realize the moderator of this board may not be welcome to my comments,
but I truly believe this board is set up to give TRUE radio people the
opportunity to agree or disagree with one another in a civil manner.
If that can't be done by a poster, I dare say leave the keyboard alone and
go back to your crayons.

Give me a break.  It amazes me how you defend the boatmaker of the
sinking ship when your own shipmates are using sledge hammers to fix the
leaks.  (By the way, that was an analogy... figure it out and you win
some free environmentally-friendly ice cream).
Just for the record, AL Franken is touring America looking for Air America donations.  (Factual,... not the made up stuff you seem to like so much)

Franken Is On Tour To Promote His Book

Al Franken is touring America to promote his new book and do live broadcasts from cities where he has affiliates. I've listented to him the last couple of days when he did his show before big crowds in Seattle and Spokane. Even his harshest critics admit that he does a better show before a live audience than he does from a studio. He plugged his book, but didn't ask for "donations."  Where did you get that idea? "Factual?" I'm afraid not.

Franken does not beg for Air America; does beg people to buy his new book
« Reply #77 on: November 01, 2005, 05:32:56 PM »

Factual? That sounds extremely funny coming from someone with a screen name like "The Spindoctor." If this is fact, tell us the specific times in Al Franken's archived shows where he "begs" for donations for Air America Radio. Al's free archived show are available at this link from Air America Place. Either put up proof or shut up!
