Important question about KHIT.
« on: October 30, 2005, 06:58:25 PM »

Hi,

I've been reading through the archives on this board about KHIT and for the most part, it has answered many of the questions that I've had about the station.

One question that I would like to know the answer to is: If KHIT had a good signal that covered the market well, why did they move their tower site from Gold Mountain in the first place? Does anyone know?

Because Gold Mountain does not have signal parity with Cougar Mt. stations already located there.  Also, since the hills in the main population core run North and South, there were severe shadows to the, (at the time), growing East side.
