Traditional Christmas tunes done traditionally
« on: December 11, 2010, 04:17:34 PM »

There are a number of traditional Christmas tunes that are aired that are not always updated with a new sound.
"Holly Jolly Christmas" by Burl Ives is one.  I recently heard Andy Williams with one.  Which ones have you noticed?

"The Christmas Song" by Nat King Cole is one I've actually heard on AC.

On standards radio there are many more, but that's another board.

Sadly, standards radio differs little from AC radio this time of year. I'm less open to contemporary music at Christmas, and yet standards radio does it even more than the rest of the year, it seems.
