Ipod Touch Streaming Question
« on: February 14, 2011, 06:33:33 PM »

 Smiley Hello Everyone,

I received an ipod touch yesterday as a gift.  This is my first ever "smart device"  I have always used the ipod classic so this is a big leap for me.

I live in the states, does this mean MyPlayer App for London's Magic 105.4 will be blocked; I know it is on a PC.

I love Heart, LBC, Gold and Capital.  I know Capital's app is for the Iphone but will the app still run on my ipod touch?

As a UK radio enthusiast and all around music lover; If there are any free apps out there that will work on my device, would someone be kind enough to list them for me?  Thank you

Rats! Can't get it here -- "This service is restricted to UK Mainland only."

I know this is a year late or whatever but if you put the post code in for London or whatever, you can get it in the states.

I am in California and use the TuneIn app - learn more at tunein.com - to listen to many international stations - such as Capital London, Radio 1 (I like the Chart Show on Sunday afternoons, etc.). Magic 105.4 blocks its stream, but LBC 97.3's stream is available. Another international station that I stream a lot on my iPod Touch is The Voice of Peace - www.thevoiceofpeace.co.il

You should be able to listen to Magic 105.4 (and most other stations in the UK and Ireland) on your iPod touch by going to www.radiofeeds.co.uk/iphone_player from your iPod.
