Why don't stations that have HD 2 have a button on their website so you can listen to it? How many people have HD radios anyway

Maybe they do not want to pay the extra streaming "music" fee (ASCAP, BMI, ect.) and or have to deal with "non internet cleared" commercials and programs.

Some do, some don't.  CC and CBS stream all of their HD signals.  Bonneville was streaming the Drive's "Deep Tracks" HD-2 signal and I assume that Hubbard will continue to do so.

Late 1967--when John Rook came in, he and ABC wanted to adopt the Drake-style formatics but also wanted to wait until the ABC network breakup on Jan. 1, 1968.  Since Rook was not happy that the Anita Kerr jingles were still playing after seven years, he rush ordered these jingles from PAMS to run through the end of the year.  Ron Riley at least seemed happy, since I recall him saying the week before the jingles changed that if he had to hear "Hey/What's the weather for the weekend gonna be?..." one more time...

Those jingles were kind of a bridge between the Anita Kerr set & the very uptempo jingles that WLS adopted in 1968. These didn't run very long.

WLS used the Anita Kerr jingles from the beginning of their rock years, 1960 until sometime in 67.

Sounds like they're trying to be "PPM-friendly."  Hurry up and get back to the music.
