Where did you get this schedule from? TV Guide, the Inquirer or something else? Huh

I second that. Unless I missed something, I don't ever recall WPVI airing a program called "Philly Midnight" - and at over half past, no less.

I got this from a WRAP overnight ratings sheet that WPSG gave me.  Undecided

Not sure why a station would keep a log of competitors' programming...

FWIW, here's the original post:

Unless it was part of its research for demographic or marketing purposes.

Nevertheless, actual listings from a paper or TV Guide would be more reliable.

It was "Philly After Midnight" hosted by Wally Kennedy who used to host AM Philadelphia (later called AM Live when expanded to 1 hour).   When Barbara Walters pushed for a Philadelphia clearance for 'The View' starting from day 1, Rosie was moved to 10am, and Wally Kennedy was given a post-midnight slot (the only time available).    But 12:35am didn't prove feasible.

I believe Wally Kennedy maybe on Comcast or KYW 1060 now, but Karen Rogers is still at WPVI and on Action News.    Now that Regis is retiring and there is space in the am hours, I think WPVI should bring back AM Philadelphia;  WABC could launch AM New York.

That would be going back to the past, since WABC used that title (except for a short 1977-78 interval as The Stanley Siegel Show) from 1970 to c.1979.
