Belkin TuneCast HD FM Transmitter released
« on: April 01, 2011, 06:34:08 AM »

The ever-popular Part 15 FM transmitter is now HD capable. Yup, now even a little part 15 transmitter can splatter the adjacents with IBUZ. Now you can hear your iPod in your car in crystal clear HD. It should be flying off the shelves!

Hilarious.  You can barely buy an HD radio any more these days, but you can buy a transmitter.

Let me guess....it costs $15034.95.  $34.95 for the box and $15K for the license?

F connector to BNC to N to clipleads to a balun to 300-ohm flatlead.  You know: typical iBiquity engineering.  Cheesy

Sounds like a joke to me. Most newer cars and car stereos (the only place you would find HD in the first place) come with a line input jack already. FM transmitters are for older car radios and people like me who are too cheap to upgrade their radio.
