94.7 - WBAR (Christian radio, repeater of WHAZ-AM 1330)
94.9 - WKLL (K-Rock 94.9 Utica, fairly weak) or Sound of Life translator (W235AY) depending on orientation
95.1 - WVTQ (Vermont Public Radio Classical, weak)
95.3 - WYJB splatter
95.5 - WYJB (mainstream AC, B95.5)
95.7 - WYJB splatter

When I started in radio in 1967, most broadcast equipment used tube technology, all recorded music was played from records on a turntable by live DJ's, there was no satellite delivery...and radio was fun.

From Coldwater, MI- Approximately 100 miles west of Detroit and 135 miles east of Chicago.

92.1- WCSR- Hillsdale, MI- (Radio Hillsdale)
92.3- WFWI- Fort Wayne, IN- Classic Rock (The Fort) / W222BB- Battle Creek, MI (WSAE translator)
92.5- WZUU- Mattawan, MI- Rock (The Zoo) / sometimes WVKS- Toledo, OH- CHR (Kiss FM)
*92.7- W224BY- Angola, IN- Sports (ESPN 92.7)-
92.9- WNDV- South Bend, IN- CHR (U93) / WLMI- Grand Ledge, MI- Classic Hits
93.1- WMLY-LP- Marshall, MI- (Lifetalk Radio)
93.3- WBTU- Kendallville, IN- Country (US 93.3)
93.5- empty frequency
93.7- WBCT- Grand Rapids, MI- Country (B93)- Despite being listed as 320kw, there's no way they're using that much of it!
93.9- WBKS- Columbus Grove, OH- CHR (93-9 Kiss FM) / CIDR- Windsor, ON- Adult Alternative (The River)
94.1- WVIC- Jackson, MI- Alternative (The Edge)
94.3- WZOC- Plymouth, IN- Oldies
94.5- WTNR- Holland, MI- Country (Thunder 94-5)
94.7- WCVM- Bronson, MI- Cont. Christian (WBCL- Fort Wayne, IN)
94.9- WMMQ- E. Lansing, MI- Classic Rock (MMQ)
95.1- WAJI- Fort Wayne, IN- AC (Majic 95.1)
95.3- WBCK- Battle Creek, MI- News/Talk
*95.5- W238BH- Kendallville, IN- Classic Hits (The Hawk// AM 1140)
*95.7- WLHT- Grand Rapids, MI- Hot AC (Channel 957) / WAOR- Nappanee, IN- Classic Rock (AOR)
95.9- WLKM- Three Rivers, MI- Classic Hits

92.7- This is a 250 watt translator located on a tall tower atop some of the highest terrain in NE Indiana. This is a perfect mix for a freak translator reception. It's not impossible to hear this one 40 miles out even during the deadest of dead band conditions. They're more like a small class A!

95.5- Another 250 watter. As of right now, this is all there is on 95.5, but my local AM station (WTVB- 1590) has a construction permit also for 95.5. It's not a good spot for this station IMO, as Kendallville is just 33 miles away from the proposed translator site. It seems far enough, but the lake area in the southern part of the county may be prone to interference from K'ville.

95.7- A far better spot for the WTVB translator IMO.
