"David Stein segues from sports to general talk".
I tuned in momentarily early this morning and Stein seemed to be saying the show's going off (no sponsors).  That was brief?

so you all don't like David Stein show? Or do you like it??

Going off the subject right quick, what do you all think of "Red Eye Radio"? WRKO 680am Monday-Saturday 1am-5am. I LOVE IT!!! Good stuff. Well worth a listen

Going back to David Stein, His show is ok. It could be better if they turn down the music, and not play it that long in the back. Take more calls. I wish him the best

I was to tired last night to change the station after Batchelor so I heard bits and pieces of Stein's last show. It was kind of sad listening to him do an on air wake. I hope TKK puts something on besides Hendrie or John and Jeff.

Red Eye Radio is great. I just wish Doug McIntyre ( A Stonehill College graduate) had more guests. He is a great interviewer and very knowledgeable about history, entertainment and current events..

"Not a bad guy" (broadcaster) as The Dean would say. But a Delilah-type format for a male isn't going to work.
I think I heard his meeting his wife story four times and I didn't hear that much of the show over the last 25 days (or whatever it was).

Red Eye and Coast to Coast are already carried by other stations; barring them running something like Sporting News Radio, if they prefer not to go back to Hendrie I suppose they could do radio re-winds again like they used to years ago--rerun Graham, Bower, whatever.

Interesting: A visit to http://www.969bostontalks.com not only has an ad for "Meehan (and Tom Keane) all next week 2-6 pm" but the schedule page no longer says "Mike Bower". It now says simply
"Afternoons"..

>>sched page
10:00AM - 2:00PM Michael Graham

2:00PM - 6:00PM Afternoons

6:00PM - 10:00PM Michael Smerconish
