Wow...I thought I never see the day where Doug-FM would be in the Top 10 in ratings (they got a 4.2 share, good for 8th in the market). Remember back in 2005 where we all said that they would falter and change formats again? Well, it just goes to show that if you give it time, eventually people will tune in and the ratings will come in. Nice job to Citadel (although I still want my old DRQ back, but that's a different topic).

WCSX is sure doing good. You couldn't ask for a better classic rock PD than Brent Alberts.

It'd be nice if 93.1 and 96.3 swapped formats (put Doug on 96.3 and the Adult CHR on 93.1), but I doubt it'll happen Tongue

Also, could Fresh be working on 100.3? Everyone went over to WMGC after WNIC flipped formats but now they're coming back it looks like Wink

I don't know about DVD and DRQ switching formats......maybe it'll work, maybe it won't, but for right now, as high as Doug FM is in the latest ratings, I wouldn't risk that. The last two stations to flip formats (both owned by Radio One), both of them sunk in ratings, one of them having the worst reception of all the radio stations in the market.

As far as Fresh is concerned, by this point it's too predictable. Of course Fresh 100.3 is gonna dominate during the spring/summer months after faltering during Christmas season. It's been like that for years; way too predictable for my taste.
