John Pruitt wishes he could have covered the storms
« on: May 01, 2011, 09:16:09 PM »

Former WSB TV anchor John Pruitt gave the commencement speech at Reinhardt University this weekend.  He commented that with all the recent news stories including the tornadic storms that broke out this past week in GA, he wished he had been able to cover them again on television.  His heart went out to those who had suffered this week. He said he came real close to calling WSB and asking them if he could cover it. But alas he said that the younger generation has the task now, and he has to leave it to them to carry on.

The main theme of his speech to the graduates was, "To look forward, you have to remember where you have been."  Good words for young graduates.
