In case anybody's interested...
« on: June 20, 2011, 04:35:53 PM »

Probably as a result of Steve Clem's KWGS documentary on our KAKC days (or more accurately, DAZE), the Tulsa Historical Society is opening an exhibit on the subject.  They're having a kickoff reception 4:30-6:30 this Thursday, June 23rd, with a panel discussion of what it was like inside the volcano, somewhere around 5:30 -- Dick Schmitz, Clayton Vaughn, Harry Wilson, Mike "Morning Mouth" McCarthy, and Scooter Segraves.  2445 South Peoria, $5 for non-THS members, $3 if you're of a certain age (which I have no idea WTF is  Roll Eyes).

My sister swears it's no coincidence that the #1 song on the Billboard Honor Roll of Hits the day I was born was Frankie Masters' "Scatterbrain."

Get an iPhone and load it with the music you like.  You'll be a lot happier.
