Similarly, nobody would listen to Barry's show if it were on your local classic hits station every day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It would kill office listening completely.

Really?? Prove it. You have no proof for such a statement.  Just utter garbage.

YOU have no idea what people like or dislike in an offfice environment, at home or in the car listening. Not everything musically revolves around you or people like you. You keep programming your repetitive 300 songs daily to your hearts content. Not everybody agrees nor should they put up with that.
