Scott Hennen Fired Mid-Show
« on: May 23, 2011, 04:49:00 PM »

He told listeners on Monday that this would be his last week of shows on WZFG/"1100 The Flag" before moving on. Little did he know... it would be his last show.

Well, that was quick: Hennen will start a new show on KNOX (1310 AM) roughly one week after his final show on "The Flag".

From what I could pick up from the article, it sounds like the new show on KNOX has been in the works for some time; he was informed as early as April that his show would be cancelled by "The Flag."

In an interesting twist, Hennen's replacement is the Fargo-based syndicated liberal radio host Ed Schultz - currently suspended from his MSNBC program for those "slut" comments about Laura Ingraham. Timing is everything!

Here's something: KZFG was apparently on the block, and now it's been sold to a group of investors including - Scott Hennen. This gives new meaning to the term "buyback."
