Yes, sometimes the more they stay the same.
We just noticed the return of these CC terrestrial broadcasters:

-11 KIIS (Kiss) Los Angeles
-12 WHTZ (Z-100) NYC
-13 WLTW (Lite FM) NYC
-57 WSIX Nashville
163 WGCI Chicago

It's been a couple of weeks now. Clear Channel apparently laid off some programming staff (pleasing the investors, no doubt) and stopped programming music channels specifically for XM. Now it's just simulcasts of major-market FMs (mainly New York City) with local ads covered up by pre-programmed songs.

Maybe XM Radio should add KYLD(WiLD 94.9), a CHR/Rhythmic radio station from San Francisco, featuring JV's Wild Wake Up Morning Show, Dreena Gonzalez, Chino, and Nessa's night show!

Don't know if this is just my radio, but Lite 106.7 (XM channel 13) seems to sound brighter and crisper than the regular XM channels.
Anyone know if CC is alloting more bandwidth to these music channels than XM does to their music channels?
CC's Bollywood and Beyond also sounded noticeably better than ATN Asian Radio.

I think the CC channels are at a higher bitrate than XM's own music channels.

I did notice that Chicago's WGCI on 162 (Formerly "Bollywood & Beyond") is in mono.

Aren't 164 (Sixx Sense) & 166 (America's Talk) also CC programmed?

I believe CC programs 2 talk channels, I doubt those would change (to Fm simulcasts) but I bet 164 changes to a simulcast of one of CC's Rock stations, probably Q104 out of NYC

I would love to see XM Radio add KYLD(WiLD 94.9), a CHR/Rhythmic radio station from San Francisco and 99.7 WRFX, a Classic Rock station based in Charolotte, NC!
