A Classic TV DVD Box Set That Will Fly Off The Shelves

Many classic TV series have been released on DVD. But this message is a "heads-up" to inform you about the upcoming release of a classic TV DVD box set that should become one of the best-selling DVD box sets of all-time.

Universal Studios Home Video is releasing the first season of "Leave It To Beaver", one of TV's most beloved classic sitcoms.

The DVD box set includes not only all 39 episodes from that first (1957/1958) season, but also the original pilot, in which Hugh Beaumont (who would play Ward Cleaver in the series) and Tony Dow (who would later play Wally Beaver) did not appear.

Given how popular "Leave It To Beaver" was during both it's original six-year (1957-1963) network run (1957/1958 on CBS; the remaining seasons on ABC) and in reruns rebroadcast ever since, this should become a DVD bestseller. Expect the remaining five seasons of the show to get released in the not-too-distant future.

The first season box set will be available in stores on Tuesday, November 22nd.
