Columbus June PPM's
« on: July 14, 2011, 04:16:14 PM »

Q-FM, The Blitz, and WCOL all posted gains of 1.0+.

Do WNND & WNNP's ratings get combined now?  WNNP hasn't had a rating in a few months.

Yes, they're combined since the stations are now 100% simulcast.  And even though Rewind lost most of the nice bump they got last time (trend starting Apr = 2.5-3.3-2.7), they are still a tad above Mix (2.5) and less than a point behind 93.3 (which is as usual stuck in the cellar of the top-notch signals at 3.6).  In fact, Rewind still has a cume that is 76% of 93.3's, which should be pretty embarrassing for 93.3 given how hugely superior WLZT's signal is.  That applies regardless of demo breakouts (besides, I'm sure Rewind's are great) or whether 93.3 is successfully serving some strategic function for CC.  93.3's true potential for the cluster continues to be woefully under-realized.

A month ago it was asked (hey, by you, Nu!), "BTW, anyone know about when WNKO started encoding?  Hard to judge how good their 1.2 is without knowing how many weeks they amassed listening credit." And now I think we have our answer to that question -- that 1.2 was legit, and consistent with their June 1.1, and they should just be thankful that they didn't lose as many tenths as just about everyone else below them did! Yeah, it's too bad, just when all those stations didn't think things could get any worse ... they did.
