I've always admired Gorman for what he did in the past...and you could give a lot of credit to the Rock Hall coming here to him.  Alan Freed was one thing...but the influence that MMS had locally and nationally in breaking and boosting up rock acts contributed to Cleveland's reputation as a rock town.  Damn shame when you listen to the Cleveland FM dial now...unless you're to the left of 92, the only rock you hear is metal/southern (97.5), classic (98.5), and 90s era alt (100.7, when they're not talking).  Nobody is breaking new rock music in Cleveland anymore, except the college kids.

Great insight on V's demise.  It seems that John had a blueprint for the station, but was torn and ripped into shreads for something different.  If done right, we still would've had Triple-A on 107.3 instead of the return of The Wave.
