97.7 silent
« on: July 27, 2011, 09:16:55 PM »

Appears to have shut down. 97.7 and the 'new' 90.7 shared programming for a while. 90.7 says power is 2kw. covers pretty good in most areas.

Any idea how long it's been silent? I tried to hear it from Solana Beach when I was in town very briefly a couple of weeks ago, and couldn't. My listening post there is somewhat terrain-blocked to the Tijuana sites, but I was hearing most everything else from down there fairly clearly, including 90.7, which was not mentioning 97.7 in its IDs at all.

Probably the last time was before the KSIQ booster circus at Sweetwater. Another Tijuana outlet, 107.7 ,which normally bleeds over KRLY-LP, has
really gone down in signal. Much lower than when it first signed on in Rosarito, later moving to T.J. (And to 107.8, to KWVE's consternation, later corrected)
