Enunciation and announcers on WHRB Cambridge Harvard radio 95.3 ?

Do other listeners think some WHRB-FM Cambridge Harvard radio 95.3 announcers need to attend more to diction?... with better enunciation, more distinct, better breathing, each word would be more clear, easier to understand. Even though it sounds okay at this end, a few other listeners made this comment. And that some WHRB broadcasters swallow words at the end of sentences!

Yes, some of them do need to work on their announcing skills.

I set up an aircheck server for them a couple years ago, in part to make it easy for them to hear what they sound like. When I was in college we had to use cassette decks for airchecking.

Ultimately, though, you have to care how you sound and work to improve your skills. The ones who do can go quite far.

theyre very crisp and meticulous, perhaps to much so, in my opinion - especially the jazz announcers. could stand to do more with inflection and delivery styles - then the words wouldnt matter so much. if a listener wants liner-notes, theyre a Shazam away, so i also think they should do less announcing
