WEXP 101.5 Brandon, VT
« on: April 18, 2013, 01:07:29 AM »

WEXP 101.5 Brandon, VT is being transferred from WOODCHUCK RADIO, LLC to RADIO VERMONT CLASSICS, L.L.C. filed with the FCC on 04/16/2013. I wonder if WEXP 101.5 will flip to classical with WCVT(FM), STOWE, VT.

https://licensing.fcc.gov/cgi-bin/ws.exe/prod/cdbs/forms/prod/cdbsmenu.hts?context=25&appn=101550530&formid=316&fac_num=65961

THE PURPOSE OF THIS APPLICATION IS TO TRANSFER CONTROL OF WOODCHUCK RADIO, LLC, THE LICENSEE OF STATION WEXP(FM), FROM KENLEY D. SQUIER AND ERIC MICHAELS, WHO ARE 90 AND 10 PERCENT MEMBERS, RESPECTIVELY, TO RADIO VERMONT CLASSICS, L.L.C., OF WHICH MESSRS. SQUIER AND MICHAELS ARE 90 AND 10 PERCENT MEMBERS, RESPECTIVELY. CONSEQUENTLY, THERE WILL BE NO CHANGE IN THE BENEFICIAL CONTROL OF THE LICENSEE.

From January:
http://www.timesargus.com/article/20130110/BUSINESS03/701109941/1006/BUSINESS

>>The Rutland station is being sold to the Radio Vermont Group..Radio Vermont owns talk-news station WDEV-AM and FM, WCVT-FM, Stowe, the state’s only commercial classical music station

Is Radio Vermont Classics simply a part of Radio Vermont group?
The article said Radio Vt Group would lease them till the FCC approves the sale "which should be
in early March"

Whether the Fox would switch to classical // WCVT who knows but since they're calling it
Radio Vermont Classics... (classical..or classic rock?)
