Northeast Broadcasting/WNCS 104.7 Montpelier VT
« on: August 23, 2011, 03:45:50 AM »

Greetings all,

Just looking to get some information on the Northeast's cluster operating under Zeb Norris.

I know they are a smaller ownership group with a handful of properties in other markets. What I'm mainly after is the vibe of the cluster, what they are about and generally anything about the shop.

Thanks,
Stephanie

Stephanie:

I think you would get a richer set of replies if you posed this question on the Northern New England board...  Zeb is a good guy, talented broadcaster and a savvy programmer. I kicked around that shop for about a year 2007-2008 and found it to be quite madcap... though many of my colleagues were not as amused. I get a sense that Zeb insulates the folks in his charge from the occasional mayhem.  Wink

Good luck!

Louie

Ahh, 104.7 the Point. Amazing station.. (and the other many freq's they broadcast on). Probably one of the best stations in VT (well #2) behind the mighty WEQX. You folks in VT are lucky.  Cool
