What are Katz & Huth doing ???
« on: August 31, 2011, 05:13:07 PM »

I see  that K+H  have control of the Susanville market.   Now 1370 is moving from Quincy to Red Bluff.  Anyone know what the plan is ?

Is 1370 even on the air?  I was through there a couple of months ago & they were off.  I see the 100.3 is trying to move to Paradise too.  But on the bright side, Quincy has one of the best local community stations in the Sierras.  Wish they'd stream.

I have passed through Northern Sacramento Valley and have heard nothing on 1370.
Nor did I hear anything at 1370 while passing through Quincy and Chester last fall.
It appears 1370 is still off the air.

With the stations Huth/Katz already have (KMYC 1410 and KOBO 1450 in Yuba City,
KBLF 1490 in Red Bluff, KTOR 99.7 in Westwood, and a few other FMs), there may be
trouble ahead for whatever city 1370 could broadcast from, considering the economy
and several FMs that are already on the air.

Holy Concow Batman !!!    Trying to move the 100.3 A "dead horse" licensed to Quincy into Chico by way of Concow.   Looks like the FCC has the "move in"  On hold.   It does look like a very good site to cover the entire Chico area, but where is this Jarbo Gap Huh
