From Radio-Info...Radio One transfers its urban AC "Magic" WXMG from 98.9 to 106.3. Magic therefore replaces the gospel "Joy" format of WYJD on 106.3. Market Manager Eddie Harrell, Jr. says the whole "Magic" package will move to 106.3, including the Tom Joyner Morning Show. The new station at 98.9 is a new "Playing what we want" adult hits "Jack FM."

OMG. When it rains it pours.      This one sure came out of left field!  Don't even know what to say yet, except that so far (big qualifier there) it sounds like a rock-leaning version, though not entirely.  Wonder if Saga is involved somehow?

The first half hour (12-12:30 PM) sounded like this:

Queen - We Will Rock You
Queen - We Are The Champions
U2 - Beautiful Day
Aerosmith - Crazy

They have played a few songs that are really far away from Classic Rock so far:
Young MC - Bust A Move
Outkast - Hey Ya!
Coldplay - Clocks
