To Jo-nathan,

Just got a response from K-Love and here it is.

R.D.P.

Every letter is important to us. I apologize for the delay in responding to you. We've received a high volume of email from our listeners recently and are catching up as quickly as possible.

Thank you! It is wonderful to know you're able to catch the newest signal we've been working to bring on 93.5 FM (WMLV) when the winds are blowing right. I've attached a document with suggestions from our Engineers that might help improve the reception you are receiving.

Having K-LOVE broadcast in Selma would be great. Expanding into new markets can be difficult at this time for a couple reasons: the FCC has a freeze in effect on all new signal applications so at this time we can't apply for a new one, and purchasing an existing station can be very challenging - from both an availability and expense standpoint for a listener-supported radio station.

Currently we have no leads, so it could be some time before we are able to consider bringing K-LOVE further into your community. If you do know of a local radio station looking to change their format or sell, please have them contact our Signal Development Team at 1-800-525-LOVE(5683).

Since we don't know what the future holds we'll continue to trust God to provide and guide us. Your prayers for K-LOVE to broadcast in your hometown would be most appreciated since our Signal Development Team is always looking for opportunities to bring K-LOVE to more people.

In the meantime, K-LOVE is available online at www.klove.com and available on some cell phones via the mobile* apps we've been able to supply. If this is an option for you, click on the "Listen Online" link to stay connected to us or check out our apps at http://www.klove.com/contests/mobile-app.aspx.

Thanks for taking the time to contact us here at K-LOVE. If I can be of further assistance, please let me know.

In His service,

Sarah Outman
Correspondence Assistant

"Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my victorious right hand." Isaiah 41:10 NLT

Although this may seem like a setback, I'm still going to carry on and seek God's will as I continue to work on this dream.

RDP - I'll also be in prayer for this. K Love is a great ministry and I have no doubt it would be a blessing to the people of Selma.

To answer some other questions: Baisden is still on 104.1 in the afternoon. As for the Buzz, I highly doubt it'll be changing formats. Classic hits seems to do well around here. I doubt 97.9 will stay exactly the same, they'll add spots and tweak the imaging some soon I'm sure. It really wouldn't surprise me if they put it on the bird, honestly. And 101.3 became country when Clear Channel controlled the stations, hence why they were allowed to use the "Miss" logo and name. I was working at Q951 at the time the LMA with URB became effective.

Keep in mind, if you are tired of corporate radio. You have the choice of listening to thousands of small market operators.

What is the rumored plans for 106.5? Sold to the university.

106.9 was sold to Meridian Community College for the use of its Broadcast Communications Technology students. I haven't heard much about their plans but I'm sure it'll be a typical college station.

A friend of mine always says, "Let's wait and see where the next domino goes down.", or "The dominoes aren't finished falling yet, so watch for more.".

I believe people are divided into three areas:
1. Those who talk about what has happened...
2, Those who wonder what will happen...
3. AND, those who make things happen...
Please think about it. Thanks   JBI
