Does this Atlantic DX receiver go online on any routine schedule?

It's offline every time I go to the receiver list no matter what time of day or night.

Or is it because I just recently signed up that I'm not able to tune certain receivers yet?

You're on the 2 week trial period since you just signed up. After the 2 weeks are up they will give you access to more receivers.

I was blessed to hear WIOD at a rare time, :39 after.....they are generally only dependable on the "hard breaks," and maybe after news, and around :00 & :30 after.  Miami sunset is around 5:30pm EST right now....best to wait, especially until it's almost break-o-dawn in the UK, when only stuff to the west will arrive.

I have been listening for it late at night, about an hour or less before UK sunrise. Did you get a definite ID at :39? I need to listen when they give a solid ID.
If I knew when WIOD gave one or had a local cutaway that would be very helpful.

That's what I was thinking because so many others are listed as offline to me too.

I'm still happy with what I've heard with the US receivers so far.

And it sure is addicting as can be, like you all say.

When I use the Grand Junction receiver, I picture myself actually being there, outside with a portable receiver, and looking at the nighttime scenery.

Yes, "six ten WIOD.com", leading into Coast to Coast, IIRC.  Ya know, my clock might be off a bit; I cannot imagine a satellite-delivered talk show cutting away at :35-39 or so!  We have outages sometimes, and I think my PC clock doesn't keep up.  Anyway, it was a cutaway.

I'd think that WIOD staff would love to give this a try!

EDIT:  It'd be great if you could hear them say, "....also on the FM at 100.3."  Way to plug a 250w translator....across the pond!

WMAQ--oops--I mean WSCR is really tough. I only got it once & that was because I was listening to them live on the radio and able to match up the audio. 670 is a mess with many stations.

I'm pretty sure I had WMAQ....er WSCR  ...in the mix last week, but I'm not positive.  No identifiable trace of it last night, however.  800 as Bonaire makes sense.  The thing I'm really wondering about is the Christmas music (in English) on 730.

At 1 AM EST, I went back to Grand Junction node and heard the following:

1480 KQAM Wichita, KS
1500 KSTP Minneapolis talking sports
1510 KGA Spokane
1520 KOKC Oklahoma City loud and causing some splatter on 1530 where it is kind of a mess with no KFBK in sight
1540 KXEL IA and an unknown Spanish
530 weak unknown, playing Silent Night
880 probably KWIP Dallas, OR with Reg Mexican with what sounds like an accordion. (There is a town in OR called Dallas and isn't too far from Salem)
570 Salt Lake City (forgot the calls), with Coast to Coast AM and no Cuban RR signal

It was late Christmas Eve & early Christmas morning. Everyone was asleep and I was up waiting for Santa AND listening to Atlantic DX.
At 0533Z I confirmed WIOD with a definite ID. At 0632Z I heard 1170 WWVA. Also heard WSM for my first time. IDd WSCR barely above the noise level fighting it out with Cuba. WLW was fairly strong.
The Canadians were doing well, especially CFRB & VOCM. Others making the trip across the Atlantic last night to Northern Ireland were WJR, WABC, WBBM, WCBS, WLS, WMVP, CFRB--strong, KDKA,WBZ, and of course WBBR. Heard something on 1190, suspect WLIB, but not sure.

The highlight for me was finally confirming WIOD. It's a tough one to identify because it just makes it above the noise level, but I finally got a station break. (I love challenges) 
Also, nice to confirm WWVA which I suspected before, but finally got an ID tonight.

Cyberdad--I listened for your 730, but can't ID. It certainly wasn't music & the talk was not in English.

At about 2300Z on the N Ireland Atlantic MWDX receiver: WXKS "Talk 1200 Boston" and CFGO "Team 1200" Ottawa both IDed within seconds of each other as they see-sawed back and forth, each with decent signals - now back to the holiday.....

You may have heard a Texas station.  KZMP University Park (Dallas) carries ESPN Deportes and runs 750 watts at night; their hideous directional pattern doesn't cover Dallas/Fort Worth very well at all.  On the other hand, their skywave can go a long way and one of their minor lobes is pointed northwest, right toward Grand Junction.
