I for one am sad to see that he had such a short leash.  Dan is a GREAT GUY...he did focus on too much change too soon...brought his pals in and fired a few others...that said, I think if he would have had another six months to play his plan would have caught on and they would have really benefited from having him in the building and running their stations.

Sorry, he had no business being in this business. He knew nothing and was a complete hinderance to any daily radio station normalcy.

First, it's not "hinderance" it's hindrance.

Second, I am not an apologist for, just an observer of.

Third, to say that he had NO BUSINESS BEING IN THE THIS BUSINESS seems a bit sweeping and would suggest that you, yourself have succeeded in this business on some level. Or maybe you're just another blow hard that knows everything because you've done nothing?

I think you two should take it outside to the junior high area.

You may want to check on that before you correct someone. Either spelling is acceptable.

I'll say this about Dan Longenette; although he had no business running those radio stations, it won't matter who they hire next. Market managers last from 3 weeks to 15 months before Jeff Wilks and Lee Killian drive them nuts.

Sorry, dad....I guess I never really thought about it that way (said as Bobby Brady to Michael Brady in episode 10 of season 3)
