Furman Resigns from 1160
« on: December 13, 2011, 12:52:42 PM »

I wonder where Andy Furman lands next? Eddie Fingers would be a good replacement.

http://cincinnati.com/blogs/tv/2011/12/13/andy-furman-resigns-from-real-talk-1160/

Andy Furman confirms he’s leaving “Real Talk 1160″ on Friday. I just got off the phone with him, then removed the question mark off the headline of this blog. Andy says he hopes to be able to talk about his move next year. He says he can’t say more. I get the impression that he’s still deciding what his next move will be, that he doesn’t have a done deal, or that he’s got a deal that he can’t talk about until his next employer announces it.

I hope he gets someplace where I can pick him up.

The hot rumor is that Furman may be working again with Randy Michaels.

I don't think that Fingers would be a good replacement.

Eddie Fingers would be a good replacement.
Any reason why Fingers hasn't found another job? Is he too expensive?

That's probably the main reason. Local programming is more expensive than running a syndicated show from who knows where.

I don't think Fingers would be, either. Assuming RealTalk sticks with the sports focus. Eddie would most likely find that restrictive.

Stuff is working.
Still do not know why he decided to do this. Thought for sure that 1380 or 1530 made a run at him.
Would like to keep it local.
We'll see.

FWIW, I enjoyed listening to the short-lived Richard Skinner/Glenn-from-Mason duo on 1480.

They broke format to do what exactly?
