Heading to Perth

I'm moving down there soon, anyone familiar with radio conditions there?  I'm thinking it might be an interesting place to DX.

Perth, on Ozie's west coast, is their third or fourth largest city, behind Sydney, Melbourne, and possibly Brisbane.
Among the most isolated cities on earth, it lies thousands of "kilometers from nowhere", thank you Yusuf Islam.
